The Role

Lead Engineer is crucial for success of software engineering projects within the organization, combining technical expertise with leadership and collaboration skills to drive innovation and deliver exceptional solutions.

Skills Summary:

Web Development: Hands-on experience with programming languages such as Java, .Net, Python, Go, C#, Java Script.

Java Script Frameworks: Proficiency in frameworks like Angular, React, Vue.js, and Node JS.

Back-End Development: Experience with microservices implementation, containerization using Docker.

Databases: Expertise in Postgres, My SQL, Oracle, etc.

No SQL Databases: Proficiency with Mongo DB, Amazon Dynamo DB, Cassandra, etc.

Cloud Services: At least 3 years of experience with cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

Additional Skills:

• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes.
  
• Experience with N-tier architecture (MVC) and ORM (Object-Relational Mapping).
  
• Familiarity with CI/CD and Dev Ops practices.
  
• Agile Leadership: Experience in leading Agile-based delivery teams.
  
• Certifications: AWS or Azure certification is preferred.

Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Collaborate with business, sales, and marketing teams to define requirements, interfaces, implementation approaches, and scalable, reusable solutions.
  
• Work closely with client engagement partners to improve client relationships and ensure smooth operations.
  
• Drive technical excellence and implement best engineering practices like design reviews, continuous integration, and test-driven development.
  
• Be a hands-on problem solver, leading from the front in exploring new technology platforms.
  
• Ensure the adoption of best-in-class quality assurance techniques to deliver high-quality software solutions.
  
• Assemble and present technology delivery pitches to senior technical and non-technical audiences.
  
• Efficiently manage day-to-day operations and maintain clear client communication.
  
• Provide mentorship, coaching, and educational opportunities to software engineers, fostering continuous learning and growth.
  
• Support presales and solutions teams on pursuits to bring in new business.
  
• Work in an interdependent structure, helping unblock teams and resolve issues across business, technology, and other functions.
