Overview
This role is for leading one of the Test Equipment teams of ATE Center of Excellence. It involves managing a team of 15 engineers working on test equipment design and development.

Job Title:
Manager – Engineering, ATE Center of Excellence
Primary Responsibilities:

• Manages, develops, and motivates a cross-functional team of test equipment engineers to deliver test solutions.
• Develops and maintains strategic partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers and direct reports.
• Performs project planning, develops and administers budget, schedules and performance standards for multiple projects
• Manages project technical risks and develops mitigation plan.
• Manages operations support projects and provides guidance to team on handling multiple priorities
• Provides technical guidance to team on issues
• Performs resource planning, analyses hiring requirements, metrics and trends to influence team strategy and performance.
• Performs competency assessment and plans for competency development of team.
• Responsible for conducting annual reviews, performance discussion and regular one on one with the team.
• Improves employee experience, drive retention and DE&I
• Drives process excellence and ensure compliance.
• Leads departmental/organizational initiatives.
• Explores and drives growth opportunities in portfolio.

Basic Qualifications:

• 10+ years of Industry experience with experience in Test Equipment Design, Development and Verification activities with at least 4 Years of experience in Project and People Management.
• Hands on experience in Test equipment system design/ Test equipment hardware design/ Test equipment software design.
• Experience handling Operations support activities
• Experience in National Instruments hardware, software and third party measuring instruments ( PXI, CRIO, Lab VIEW, Test Stand) or experience in designing test equipment hardware like rack based systems, adapters, harnesses, signal conditioning boards etc..,
• BE/B-tech/MTech in Electronics/Electrical/Instrumentation Engineering
• Good communication skills and team building capabilities.
