The Position

POSITION TITLE: Manager/Assistant Manager – Imports, Warehouse & Logistics

Your Opportunity: In this position you will be reporting to Senior Manager - Imports & Warehousing
You will be managing the warehouse, logistics & import operations for Diabetes Care business India. You will lead a team of 1 Logistics & Import executive. Following are some key activities you will manage

In charge of warehousing operations managed by 3PL’s in the allocated Geography of the country & closely monitoring of 3PL activities and reviewing KPIs with 3PL.
Close monitoring inbound and outbound logistics across region and accurate storage of goods in line with the Quality standards
Tracking the dispatch from global WH and supervise GFF for the alert and forward the same to CHA and end to end process of import shipment till GRN
Overall in charge of Import clearance activities at Port and movement to Warehouse
Coordinating to ensure timely execution of annual, bi-annual, & quarterly wall–to–wall counts, besides daily cycle count checks
Ensuring minimum expiries at the locations and arrange for accurate destruction of expired and scrapped goods.
Ability to foresee any challenges that are likely to come in the Imports / Warehousing and Transport front and take proactive measures
Closely coordination with service provider /3PL to ensure timely Sales Order Processing for smooth delivery transactions
Responsible for an efficient and reliable data management between company and the Logistics Service provider in compliance with the required standards, regulations and corporate guidelines.
Responsible for handling the Warehouse and transport efficiency improvement projects.
Responsible for damage Claim Processing in the internal system and insurance service provider.
Ensuring the timely updates and archival of Supply Chain SOP’s and agreement & Coordinating and ensuring the Contract archrivals and record keeping for Supply Chain documents
Working in close coordination with Finance Team and internal team to ensure, inventory status, FOC issues, and sales return and monthly closing activities
Ensuring the placing the all service related purchase order and further invoice submission
Timely submission of supply chain provision

Who you are

Relevant years of experience in warehouse, imports & logistics operations
Experience in Healthcare industry
Experience of managing a team would be of an added advantage
Graduate degree & specialization in SCM would be of an added advantage
