SWA is seeking a Riverter/Assembly worker for an open role in Greenwood, IN!

• Pay: $17 hr (firm)
• Shift: Monday - Thursday 6:00 am - 4:30 pm (OVT possible daily and on Fridays)

Job Summary:
As a Rivet/Assembler worker, you will be responsible for assembling and Riveting various aerospace parts/components to create finished products. This role requires mechanical knowledge and the ability to effectively use hand and power tools. The ideal candidate will have experience in a manufacturing environment.
Consideration Requirements:

• Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening!
• High school diploma or GED
• Previous experience as an Assembler or in a similar role is preferred
• Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of assembly techniques
• Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and diagrams
• Small part assembly experienced
• Rivet experience

Duties:

• Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and assembly instructions
• Use hand tools and power tools to assemble components
• Inspect finished products for quality and ensure they meet specifications
• Perform basic troubleshooting and repairs as needed
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines
• Use of the punch, die, and rivet press to form fasteners on to aerospace parts.
• Select and identify the proper materials, including rivet selection, needed to assemble components.
• May perform some troubleshooting and rework of production items.

Physical requirements:

• Able to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds on a daily basis
• Able to bend, twist, turn, carry, walk, sit, stoop, kneel, etc
• Able to successfully pass vision screens
• Able to sit for prolonged periods
• Great hand eye coordination
