Studeasy Foundation is a Mumbai-based Section 8 Company (NGO) which makes Quality Education accessible to India’s 125 MN Govt. school students through the use of technology, as per the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 4 and the Indian Government's National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.
Studeasy Foundation has developed programs that leverage low-cost, hyper-scalable technologies and make Quality Education accessible to students in Govt. schools and at home as well. The organization has partnered with multiple State Governments and some of India’s largest socially-responsible corporations to execute its programs to over 450,000 public school students across 10 states in India.
Studeasy Foundation's programs have significantly improved academic performance of Govt. school students, which has resulted in the organization being recognized by the Government’s #Startup India and #Digital India initiatives, whilst also being nominated for prestigious international awards such as Global Citizen’s Award (2021), Waislitz Award (2022) and the millionth award for South Asia (2023).
Job Overview:
The Program Monitoring, Evaluation & Reporting (M&E) Executive will play a crucial role in ensuring the success and impact of the Studeasy Foundation's educational initiatives. This position requires a highly analytical, detail-oriented professional capable of working independently in a remote environment. The M&E Executive will be responsible for developing and implementing monitoring frameworks, evaluating program effectiveness, and preparing detailed reports that demonstrate the outcomes of our programs to funders and stakeholders.
Overview of the vacancy:
Designation: Program Monitoring, Evaluation & Reporting (M&E) Executive Nature of work: Remote
Nature of employment: Permanent
We’re looking for candidates with:
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Statistics, or a related field.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in program monitoring, evaluation, and reporting, preferably in the education or social development sector.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, SPSS, etc.).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting while maintaining regular communication with the team.
- Knowledge of the education sector in India and experience working with government schools is a plus.
1. Program Monitoring:
- Develop and implement monitoring frameworks to track the progress of Studeasy Foundation’s educational programs across different states.
- Regularly gather and analyse data on program activities, participation, and outcomes.
- Coordinate with on-ground teams and volunteers to ensure accurate and timely data collection.
- Identify potential challenges or areas for improvement in program delivery and suggest corrective actions.
- Conduct detailed evaluations of program effectiveness, including both qualitative and quantitative analyses.
- Design and implement 360-degree assessment tools to capture feedback from students, teachers, school principals, and other stakeholders.
- Analyse the impact of programs on learning outcomes, student engagement, and teacher satisfaction.
- Prepare evidence-based evaluation reports that demonstrate the value and impact of Studeasy Foundation’s programs.
- Prepare comprehensive reports for corporate funders and other stakeholders, showcasing the impact of their contributions.
- Provide monthly, quarterly, and annual reports on program performance, highlighting key metrics and success stories.
- Ensure that all reports meet the requirements of funders and are submitted within specified timelines.
- Collaborate with the communications team to share program achievements and impact through various channels.
- Use insights from monitoring and evaluation activities to recommend improvements in program design and implementation.
- Stay updated on best practices in program monitoring, evaluation, and reporting in the education sector.
- Participate in regular team meetings to discuss program performance and share evaluation findings.
- In hand compensation of Rs. 20,000 - 25,000 per month (fixed, in-hand)
