Your Role

Job Details: The ideal candidate must have knowledge of field Instrumentation, PLC, control system installation and implementation.
The candidate should be able to handle Factory Acceptance Tests, control wiring design, and logic design, Compressor string test, Core test and support troubleshooting site issues.
Responsibilities:

• Candidate should be able to understand process and accordingly design implement instrument and control Philosophy.

• Understanding of P&IDs and develop loop descriptions for various plants, processes, and/or Equipment.

• Develop software and hardware design specifications.

• Candidate will also a part of Unit testing at factory.

• Develop control system validation/testing protocols.

• Experience in field trouble shooting, commissioning and start-up of control systems is required.

• Drive FAT/SAT at vendor or customer place for tailor made projects based on customer specifications.

• Analyse Customer Requirements & Expectations from the product in terms of Product Design

• Should be well versed with hazardous area classification and selection of instruments.

• Should have experience of In-tools software

• Should be well versed with the concepts of Program designing, Testing, executing & verifying the PLC & Panel, and the complete gamut of Design and Drafting of Electrical wiring diagrams and logic Diagrams.

• Knowledge of selection and sizing of process instrumentation and control system.

• Knowledge of IEC and NEC codes.

• Knowledge of Foundation field bus technology

• Experience in other control systems like Rack 3500 system, governor control system like woodword-505 would be added advantage.

• Experience with control system networking technologies and PC networking technologies

• Detail understanding of various communication protocols like Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet, OPC, etc

• Willing to travel on site for troubleshooting/resolving problem

• Working experience with LVMCC and Power distribution panel will be added advantage.

To succeed, you will need

Qualifications and core competences:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Instrument or Electrical/Electronic Engineering

• Five (5) to Eight (8) years’ experience in PLC, MMS Hardware selection, Programming,

• Experience handling Instruments of Compressor will be added advantage

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team environment.

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced multi-tasking environment.

• Experience with Gas & Process Industries and understanding of process

• Capable of Managing Multiple Projects.

• Capable of reading drawings and schematics.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.

Hardware & Software:

• MMS Rack 3500 software

• Instrument In tools software

• Experience with PLCs such as: Rockwell, Siemens

• Experience with: Foundation Fieldbus, Profibus is an added advantage.

• Proven experience with RS Logix 500, 5000, Sematic Manager, WINCC, SCADA, Wonder ware, Modscan, Mod Sim software and CFC programming.

• Knowledge of Vibration analysis, Auto CAD and Woodward 505 is and added advantage
