Senior Unity Engineer - XR

3D Development
- Design and implement interactive 3D applications, games, and simulations using Unity.
- Develop and integrate 3D assets, including models, textures, animations, and effects, into Unity projects.
- Implement complex 3D game mechanics, physics, and interactions to create engaging experiences.

Performance Optimization
- Optimize 3D scenes and assets for performance, including efficient use of resources, memory management, and frame rate improvements.
- Conduct profiling and debugging to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and technical issues.
- Ensure smooth performance across different platforms, including PC, mobile, VR/AR devices, and consoles.

Graphics and Rendering
- Work with shaders, materials, lighting, and rendering techniques to achieve high-quality visuals and effects.
- Implement and optimize visual effects such as particle systems, post-processing effects, and dynamic lighting.
- Ensure accurate and visually appealing rendering of 3D models and environments.

Collaboration and Integration
- Collaborate with artists, designers, and other engineers to integrate 3D assets and features into Unity projects.
- Work with cross-functional teams to define project requirements, design specifications, and technical constraints.
- Integrate third-party tools, plugins, and services to enhance functionality and streamline development workflows.

Testing and Quality Assurance
- Develop and execute tests to ensure the quality and stability of 3D applications and games.
- Conduct regular playtesting and gather feedback to refine and improve gameplay and user experience.
- Address issues identified during testing and ensure timely resolution.

Innovation and Improvement
- Explore and implement new Unity features, tools, and techniques to enhance development workflows and application quality.
- Contribute to the development of internal tools and frameworks that improve productivity and efficiency.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute innovative ideas to project development.
- Participate in knowledge-sharing sessions and provide mentorship to junior engineers.

Extensive experience in Unity 3D development, a deep understanding of 3D graphics, and the ability to work effectively within a creative and technical team.

Experience in Unity 3D development, with a strong portfolio showcasing interactive 3D applications, games, or simulations.

Proven experience with C# programming and Unity scripting.

Experience with 3D graphics, including modeling, texturing, and animation within Unity.

Technical Expertise:
- Advanced C#/C++ knowledge with architecture and design patterns.
- Solid OOPs programming skills and design patterns.
- Strong mathematical skills, knowledge of vectors, matrices, and linear algebra.
- Strong knowledge of designing state machines and multi-level games/applications in Unity3D.
- Experience in maintaining Performance & Optimisation in Unity3D Applications.
- Strong knowledge of Networking APIs in Unity3D.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
