Service Head (Lighting Industry)

Job Summary:
The Service Head is responsible for overseeing the service department and ensuring the timely and effective delivery of after-sales support for LED lighting products. This role involves managing a team of service engineers, planning service tours, and coordinating repair, restickering, and replacement activities.
Responsibilities:
- Team Management: Lead and manage a team of service engineers, providing guidance, training, and support.
- Service Tour Planning: Plan and schedule service tours for service engineers, ensuring optimal coverage of assigned territories.
- Repair and Replacement: Oversee the repair and replacement of defective LED lighting products.
- Restickering: Coordinate restickering activities to ensure accurate product labeling.
- Customer Satisfaction: Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through timely and effective service delivery.
- Performance Monitoring: Track service performance metrics and identify areas for improvement.
- Inventory Management: Manage inventory of spare parts and replacement components.
- Technical Support: Provide technical support to customers and dealers.
- Problem Resolution: Address customer complaints and resolve service-related issues.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in the LED lighting industry, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong understanding of LED lighting technology and applications.
- Excellent leadership and management skills.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Experience in managing a team of field service engineers.
- Knowledge of customer relationship management (CRM) software.
- Experience with service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs).
