ABOUT THE COMPANY:

They are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join their finance team. As a Staff Accountant, you will play a vital role in maintaining their financial records, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, and supporting their mission-driven initiatives.

OVERVIEW OF THE STAFF ACCOUNTANT ROLE:
- The Staff Accountant will perform month-end close activities, including preparing and posting journal entries
- The Staff Accountant will reconcile bank accounts and general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy
- The Staff Accountant will process cash applications and ensure timely resolution of discrepancies
- Assist in the preparation and analysis of budget reports and forecasts
QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE STAFF ACCOUNTANT:
- Proven experience as a Staff Accountant or similar role, including handling month-end close, journal entries, cash applications, and account reconciliations
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
