Main Responsibilities of the Project Accountant:
- Review, analyze and monitor job costing reports to ensure proper financial accounting of project to include committed cost reports, change orders, progress billings, cost to complete reports
- Ensure signed contracts are received, properly filed and all insurance requirements are satisfied
- Responsible for month end close process
- Reconciliations
Qualifications of Project Accountant
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
- Current or prior project accounting experience
- Detailed and well organized
