Western India Cashew is looking to recruit Territory Sales Manager preferably with FMCG industry background to be part of “WICC”.
Responsible for targeted sale generation focusing on primary & secondary sales for the allotted area on monthly basis.
- Targeting potential customers and assessing opportunities for sales.
- Implementation of various marketing / sales activities.
- Generation and maintenance of MIS reports on a daily basis.
- Appointment of distributors in the defined area.
- Understand develop the market in the territory & execute sales strategies consistently to attain exceed the goals.
- Arranging meetings with potential customers and selling product offerings.
- Preparation of claims & maintain stock control statement.
- Responsible for daily sales & collect reports from field sales staff on day-to-day basis.
- Meet regularly with existing customers and prospects in sales territory to understand their evolving business needs & position product solutions to meet surfaced needs.
- Maintain continues relationship with the main parties in the area with the principal objective of improving the volume, ensuring stock availability, rotation and effective distribution arrangements.
- Managing sales planning and promotional activities.
- Territory planning: Route planning, wholesale handling, manpower handling etc.
- Monitor and improve customer satisfaction in the region. Monitors customer preferences to determine focus of sales efforts.
- Ensure payment collections are obtained within time frame.
- Ensure staffing of the sales team for the region with co-ordination with superiors & HR department.
- Coverage of vacant areas to ensure stability of existing business.
- Regular field work with sales team & individually to ensure 100% customer coverage & understand the allotted area thoroughly.
- Provide management with all relevant facts & figures relating to past & present market conditions.
- Frequent follow-up with the suppliers to check the progress of existing orders.
- Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
- Ensure appropriate and timely delivery of service and products.
- Proven sales experience, meeting, or exceeding targets.
- Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.
- Proven ability to position products against competitors.
- Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
- CTC Range – Between 35000 PM to 40000 PM. Age – Between 35 to 45 yrs.
- Work Experience – 6 -8 + experience.
- Industry Preferences – FMCG/Food Processing
- Location Base – Madurai
- Language Known- English, and local language
