Position: EMERGENCY RESPONSE TEAM (HOTLINE)
Location: Ubud Office, Bali
Employment Type: Full-Time
Position Overview:
Bali Animal Welfare Association (BAWA) seeks a dedicated, detail-oriented Emergency Response Team (Hotline) member to manage urgent public inquiries on animal welfare and emergencies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for prioritizing cases, arranging ambulances, and efficiently coordinating staff for rescue operations.
Responsibilities:
● Hotline Management: Handle and respond to multiple hotline calls related to animal rescue, providing callers with helpful guidance and updates.
● Public Assistance: Inform and advise the public on proper steps when encountering animals in distress.
● Scheduling & Coordination: Prioritize rescue cases and arrange ambulance dispatch according to urgency, location, and available resources.
● Team Coordination: Work closely with rescue team members to ensure quick and effective responses, making adjustments as required.
Qualifications:
● Animal Welfare Passion: Strong dedication to animal welfare and compassion toward animals in distress.
● Experience in Animal Services: Background in animal welfare, veterinary clinics, or shelter management is preferred.
● Communication Skills: Fluent in both Bahasa and English, with a courteous and clear phone manner to handle emotional or challenging calls.
● Technical Proficiency: Competent in data entry, Microsoft Word, Excel, and general organizational software to track cases and manage schedules.
● Organizational Skills: Ability to manage case priorities and ensure efficient coordination of team resources for optimal response.
Requirements:
● Availability for full-time work based in Ubud, Bali.
● Previous references in animal welfare or emergency services are required.
