Head of Finance & Accounting

Our client is a rapidly growing tech company based in Jakarta, Indonesia, with operations both domestically and internationally. They are looking for a dynamic finance professional to lead their finance and accounting function, ensuring sound financial management and compliance as the company continues to expand.
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the full spectrum of financial operations including cash management, financial accounting, tax management, payment processes, budgeting, and management reporting.
Lead the development and implementation of financial strategies that support the company’s growth objectives.
Ensure accuracy and compliance with local and international financial regulations, tax laws, and accounting standards.
Manage the budgeting process and provide strategic recommendations based on financial analysis and forecasts.
Prepare and present detailed financial reports to the Director and other senior leaders.
Establish and maintain internal controls, ensuring the integrity of financial processes and reporting.
Manage relationships with external auditors, tax consultants, and other financial partners.
Provide insights and analysis to drive operational efficiency and support decision-making within the organization.

Key Qualifications:

Strong background in financial auditing, with several years of experience at a major accounting firm).
Experience working in a tech startup environment is highly preferred.
Deep understanding of financial accounting principles, cash management, tax management, budgeting, and management reporting.
Familiarity with managing both local Indonesian operations and international/overseas operations.
Proven track record in implementing financial strategies that align with business objectives.
Ability to work closely with senior leadership and manage cross-functional financial operations.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or equivalent certification is preferred).
