Requirements:

What it takes to succeed:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related technical field
• 8 years of hands-on experience working as a Database Administrator, with at least 6 years specifically focused on Postgre SQL, as well as 1 year of experience working with MSSQL
• Proficient in scripting languages like Power Shell and Python to automate database maintenance
• Knowledge of tools like Git Hub and Terraform
• Proven experience architecting, planning, and implementing database migrations, especially to cloud platforms like AWS or Azure
• Committed to continuous learning and professional development

What you get to do::

• Partner with our development team to design and optimize database schemas
• Execute database administration tasks, including schema management, user access control, and performance tuning
• Ensure the integrity and availability of our critical data through the implementation of robust end-to-end backup and recovery strategies
• Safeguard our sensitive data by managing user access controls, implementing encryption measures, and optimizing our comprehensive database security protocols
• Proactively monitor database performance and troubleshoot issues using advanced monitoring tools and processes
