Job Description:
We are seeking a creative and experienced Senior Designer specializing in furniture, homeware, and living products to join our design team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for crafting innovative and functional designs for living spaces, covering everything from furniture to home accessories. This role involves overseeing the full design process, ensuring the successful creation of high-quality products that balance aesthetics, function, and market trends.
Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop furniture, homeware, and living products (e.g., furniture pieces, lighting, kitchenware, décor items) that are innovative, functional, and visually appealing.
• Lead the entire design process, including concept development, sketching, modeling, and prototyping.
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to understand design needs and translate them into finished products.
• Create detailed technical drawings, 3D models, and renderings using software such as Auto CAD, Rhino, Sketch Up, or Solid Works.
• Select appropriate materials, finishes, and production techniques for furniture and homeware products.
• Work closely with manufacturers, suppliers, and production teams to ensure design integrity throughout the production process.
• Research and stay up-to-date with the latest trends in furniture, homeware, and living product design, including sustainability and eco-friendly practices.
• Present design concepts to clients and stakeholders, including creating mood boards, presentations, and product mockups.
• Oversee and manage multiple design projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budget constraints.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Furniture Design, Product Design, Industrial Design, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in designing furniture, homeware, and living products, with a portfolio showcasing successful projects.
• Proficiency in design software such as Auto CAD, Rhino, Solid Works, or Sketch Up.
• Strong understanding of furniture production processes and materials, including wood, metal, and upholstery.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of sustainability and eco-friendly materials is a plus.
• Knowledge of furniture construction techniques and materials.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in bespoke/custom furniture design.
• Strong sketching and hand-drawing abilities.
• Knowledge of 3D rendering and visualization tools (e.g., V-Ray, Blender).
