Job Title: Accountant - Part-Time (Remote)

We are looking for an experienced Part-Time Accountant with expertise in the Irish tax system to join our growing team. The Successful Candidate Will Have:

• A qualification in professional accounting exams (ACA / ACCA / CPA).
• Experience working in an accountancy practice.
• Strong numeric and analytical skills.
• Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
• Deep understanding of Irish accounting principles and tax regulations.
• Proficiency with accounting software (Xero, Sage) and the Revenue Online System (ROS).
• Good IT skills, especially with Excel.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparation of financial summaries for sales, purchases, cheque payments, and cash receipts.
• Bank, debtor, and creditor reconciliations.
• Preparing and filing income tax, VAT, PAYE, PRSI, RCT, and corporation tax returns through the Revenue Online System (ROS).
• Processing payroll for clients using SAGE and ensuring compliance with Irish payroll regulations.
• Using accounting software such as Xero, Relate, and Excel for financial reporting and analysis.
• Assisting with the preparation of accounts and audit work, including transaction testing and debtor circularization.
• Supporting clients with compliance work, including company secretarial duties.
• Other ad-hoc duties as required.
