Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Financial Accountant to join our Head Office operations, based in Dublin 2. This position requires on-site attendance at least one day per week, with the option to work remotely on the remaining days. The successful candidate will have experience working in multiple jurisdictions and understand the nuances of the tech/software sector.


Responsibilities:

• Management of the financial reporting processes for Ireland and US.
• Preparation of monthly management accounts and consolidation with US.
• Preparation and management of annual budgets and monthly forecasting.
• Work with external tax advisors in Ireland and US to ensure compliance etc.
• Assist the COO with the review of vendor and customer contracts.
• Review current systems and controls and implement best practice improvements.
• Support commercial operations from a compliance perspective.
• Prepare EOY accounts for audit.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable.
• Prepare bank reconciliations.

Qualifications:

• Qualified accountant: ACA or ACCA.

Experience:

• A minimum of 10 years' accounting experience in Ireland.
• Multi-jurisdictional experience in UK and / or US.
• At least 3 years industry experience in the tech/software sector.
• Strong business acumen is essential.
• Experience with Xero is highly desirable.
• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
