Accounts/ Purchasing Assistant

Due to the volume of projects locked in for 2025 we are currently recruiting an experienced Accounts/ Purchasing Assistant to support our Financial Controller & Purchasing Manager.

THE PERSON:
- At least 5 years' experience in an accounts or procurement role within the construction or manufacturing environment.
- Strong business acumen, relationship management, and negotiation skills
- Highly organised and multitasking abilities
- Attention to detail and excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-moving team environment.
- Understanding of supply chain systems and processes.
- Strong IT, numerical and data analysis skills with a high degree of proficiency in Microsoft Excel and a working knowledge of an inventory management system.
- You will be responsible for creditors ledger, inputting invoices, matching POs and allocating costs to jobs.
- Admin support for the Purchasing Manager.
- Follow the purchasing and procurement process in the business.
- Responsible for reporting for the purchasing and procurement function.
- Accounts admin & support for the Financial Controller, updating & maintaining records, monthly reporting & stocktaking.
- Excellent salary - Dependent on experience
