Sherpa Kids provides , After school and Holiday Childcare to children in Ireland during term time and non-term time (school holidays).
Due to expansion, our services requires suitable childcare programme leads and assistants with a commitment for delivering a quality, dependable school age service. This role requires someone who is dedicated to forming strong partnerships with their staff teams, with schools, families and with children.

• Start Date: August to allow for adequate training, reference checks and garda vetting before the school term commences.
• Job Types: Permanent (Full time and Part-time)
• Salary: Starting from €14.33 p/h -€15.33
• Hours: 20-35 per week

Programme Assistant Duties include:

• Assisting with the day-to-day activities in a caring and fun environment.
• Interacting with the children, their families and other staff members each day.
• Engaging in a variety of planned activities (both indoor and outdoor) with the children each day.
• Lots of energy and enthusiasm to work with children.

Requirements:

• Lots of energy and enthusiasm to work with children.
• Assisting with the day-to-day activities in a caring and fun environment.
• Interacting with the children, their families and other staff members each day.
• Engaging in a variety of planned activities (both indoor and outdoor) with the children each day.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience working with children is essential.
• Leadership experience is required for the Programme Leader position.
• Proficiency in technology and software (Word, Outlook, Teams, etc.).
• A driver's license is desirable for certain positions (not mandatory).
• Garda vetting and reference checks are required to ensure the safety of our children.
• Work Permit/ VISA essential (for more than 20 hours a week)
• Reference checks x2 required before starting.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: €14.33-€15.43 per hour
