Sherpa Kids provides Before School Care, After school and School Holiday Childcare to children in the area of Kinsale & the surrounding areas including a childcare leader for Belgooly NS and Programme assistant for Summercove NS during term time.
Important: All applicants must have a driving license and use of own car daily.
Our services requires a suitable passionate school age childcare/afterschool assistant with a commitment for delivering quality, dependable school age service.
- Start Date: Immediately to allow for adequate training, reference checks and garda vetting before the school term commences.
- Job Types: Permanent
- Vacancies: x2
- Locations; Summercove and Belgooly
- Hours: Belgooly Approximately 7:45-9:15am and 1:30-6pm daily with an additional +1 hour daily for administrative work at home.
- Summercove NS-1:30pm-5:30pm, Monday-Friday
- Managing the day-to-day activities in a caring and fun environment.
- Interacting with the children, their families and other staff members each day.
- Preparing a variety of planned activities (both indoor and outdoor) with the children each day.
- Lots of energy and enthusiasm to work with children.
- Experience working with school aged children is preferred (Minimum 1 year)
- Experience working in a team and leading a team is preferred.
- Garda vetting is essential (completed by us after interview stage).
- Work Permit/ VISA essential (for more than 20 hours a week)
- Overseas police clearance if you have lived outside of Ireland for 6 months or more.
- Reference checks x2 required before starting.
- Driving license and use of own car daily
Pay: €14.43-€15.33 per hour
