KME Agri is recruiting an Assembly Fitter to join our growing organisation. We are a leading manufacturer and supplier of high-quality, low-emission slurry equipment. We specialize in retrofitting existing tankers with new features and offer a comprehensive range of low-emission slurry equipment, including dribble bars and trailing shoes in various widths and configurations to meet all customer requirements.
Our main product offerings include trailing shoes, dribble bars, slurry tankers, macerators, umbilical equipment, parts, and many more.
The role is based at our site in Castleisland, Co. Kerry.
Roles and Responsibilities:

• Follow the production schedule to meet targets.
• Assemble parts and components according to company procedures, specifications, and drawings.
• Review work orders and drawings to identify required materials and assembly instructions.
• Utilize tools and machinery for assembly.
• Inspect and test completed components and assemblies for quality.
• Address or reject faulty parts and rectify issues as needed
• Complete job cards and related documentation accurately.
• Adhere to quality standards and safety protocols at all times.
• Communicate effectively with team members and management to prioritize workflow.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace.
• Perform stock control and other assigned tasks.
• Collaborate with the team to achieve weekly production goals.
• Other duties that maybe assigned and aligned to the role.

Experience Required:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
• Previous experience as a manufacturing operative in an agricultural environment is advantageous.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting drawings.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
