We are currently seeking an Area Sales Manager with a passion and instinct for generating new business and mining our customer base in Leinster.
What will you be doing?
As an Area Sales Manager, and supported by our coffee quality and technical teams you will help deliver the sales strategy in the Dublin / Leinster area, identifying and growing opportunities with new and also existing customers
Reporting directly to the Managing Director, the role entails researching the target market, identifying business development opportunities, planning the sales strategy, and winning against our competitors.
The Business Developer will work closely with our external and internal sales teams as well as our marketing team to identify potential sales, and growth opportunities within our existing customer accounts.
Grow knowledge of the coffee market, trends and competitor activity by being active in field as well as building strong customer relationships by demonstrating competence, integrity, dependability and an excellent understanding of the customer's business.
Who are you?
  • Highly motivated and goal oriented, resilient, will take a proactive and strong lead.
  • Relevant work experience in the Food Service Industry, to include knowledge of food service products, equipment and services.
  • A proven track record in up-selling and cross-selling to an established account base.
  • Experienced at creating, generating, and closing new business.
  • Excel at finding and closing opportunities in a short to medium sales cycle.
  • Be able to work independently without supervision.
  • A reliable and trustworthy professional, committed to upholding the highest standards of integrity and accountability, focused on achieving agreed goals and exceeding expectations.
  • You will have previous experience of consultative/solution type selling.
  • Ability to identify the customer’s needs (or create needs).
  • Strong commercial awareness.
  • Excellent attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with staff, customers and the wider operations team.
  • Know how to analyse market trends and competitor activities.
  • Experience using a CRM reporting system.

· OTE 55-70k euro.
