Maria Tash Limited The MARIA TASH brand is based in New York with worldwide headquarters and its flagship store opened in 2004. It was not until 2016 that the Maria Tash brand expanded internationally, with the opening of a concession in Liberty of London. Following this, the brand has continued to open piercing and jewellery destinations in Dublin (Brown Thomas), Harrods of London, the world’s very first piercing destination in the Middle East at the Dubai Mall and Mall of Emirates, and most recently in Bal Harbor, Miami. With a cult following of celebrities including Rihanna, Zoe Kravitz, Julianne Moore, Jennifer Lawrence and Charlize Theron to name just a few, the brand is the leading destination for influencers, industry insiders and tastemakers around the world.
The floor supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the stylist team. They work alongside the manager and assistant manager to ensure the team is delivering goals outlined.  They are the first point of contact if problems occur with employees or customers.  
People Management
  • Work with floor supervisor to train and communicate current product knowledge to all associates to ensure the team is fully educated on the brand and seasonal strategy by partnering with the appropriate internal DTC teams for product support
  • Assist with store manager in recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and retaining best in class talent
  • Contribute to a positive atmosphere that is fun, professional, productive, and team oriented providing clear feedback and regular coaching.
  • Assist with the store manager scheduling, and time and attendance with a view to accurate payroll processing.
  • Assist store manager in organizing store approval and inductions with Bon Marche management
  • Ensure Bon Marche have up to date staffing details as required for security and health and safety procedures
Sales Duties
  • Preparation and execution of any events in the store in partnership with management and marketing
  • Knowledge and improvement of key KPI’s for store
  • Responsible for knowing clientele and improving customer retention
  • Ensure that client information is entered properly and that client records are accurately maintained
  • Work with the management team to regularly update staff on business performance, and new initiatives
Operational Duties
  • Monitor stock inventory levels and communicate stock needs to management
  • Ensure the stylist team is taking actions to maintain an excellent level of cleanliness, facilities, and store maintenance
  • Receive, check in, and distribute stock that arrives
  • Ensure safe and secure storage of all data, in particular client and staff data held in store
  • Work with store manager to analyzes results, identifies opportunities, and assist in making decisions in collaboration with the leadership team to drive key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Assist with ensuring hallmarking meets local requirements
  • Assist with management of cleaning and clinical waste removal
Customer Service
  • Ensure that stylists are maintaining excellent customer service standards
  • Understand piercing healing times, positioning and fitting, ensuring that advice is taken from piercing team as well as understood and communicated by selling team
  • Responsible for resolving escalated customer service issue
  • Be a representative of Maria Tash in and out of the store and provide a high level of customer service as a manager.
  • Accurately process all POS transactions, capture of customer information, and inventory functions such as receiving of shipment, transfers, repairs, damages, etc to maintain the integrity of the inventory.
  • Ensure that the sales team can direct clients to pricing lists using i Pads, as required by local legislation.
Successful candidate profile:
  • 2+ years of retail management experience (luxury a plus)
  • Ability to be solution focused
  • An understanding of clientelling
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in both French and English
  • Creates an inclusive environment
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business,
  • Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with customers, management, and co-workers.
  • Ability to maneuver around the sales floor, stock rooms
  • Interest in jewelry and body piercing
