Job Title: Nutrition Account Specialist
Reporting to: Head of Hospital Channel
Location: Field Based
Duration: Contract role (12 Months)
Role & Responsibilities:
Generate sales to achieve profitability / margins in line with quarterly and monthly sales targets.
Identify and maximise new sales opportunities with existing and potential customers.
Call on key personnel who are decision makers in the sales process, such as pharmacy, dietitians, nursing, administrators and purchasing.
Monitor customer accounts within the defined territory to ensure that the sales potential is fully exploited.
Collaborate and interface with the operational team to plan and implement new business opportunities.
Provide training on new/existing products to new and existing customers.
Build long-term trusting relationships with key decision makers.
Represent the Company at trade associations meetings to promote products when required.
To follow attraction, development, and retention strategies with key and target accounts.
To maintain up to date and accurate records for the territory and supply records punctually in line with the requirements set out by management.
Maintain relationships with internal B. Braun and C.A.P.S. departments.
Knowledge & Skills Requirements:
Clinical Background in Nutrition - Desirable.
Experience within the healthcare industry / hospital environment / medical sales preferred.
Strong commercial background or able to demonstrate high level of clinical knowledge aligned to relevant therapy area.
Strong knowledge of competitor's product and services.
Strong understanding of hospital structure and role of personnel.
Excellent relationship and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work well independent of supervision, as well as a team environment.
Strong administrative, time management and IT skills.
Full clean Irish driving license.
Must be eligible to work in Ireland.
