As part of our continued growth, we are looking for a motivated and driven Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our team, with the opportunity to progress into a Business Development Manager (BDM) role.

Role Overview:
As a Business Development Representative, your primary focus will be on booking meetings with potential clients and fostering relationships to support the company’s growth strategy. You will work closely with the business development manager to identify and qualify new business opportunities. This role offers significant scope for progression into a Business Development Manager position as you develop in the role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Proactively source and qualify potential clients through research, outreach, and networking.
  • Engage with leads and book meetings for the business development manager
  • Support the development of client outreach strategies to drive lead generation and client acquisition.
  • Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, partners, and prospective clients.
  • Maintain and update CRM systems with detailed notes on client interactions, ensuring accurate tracking of pipeline activity.
  • Work closely with the Business Development Manager to provide regular updates on lead progress and meeting outcomes.
  • Attend industry events and trade shows to represent Leeson Group and build new connections.
Requirements:
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with prospects and establish trust quickly.
  • Proactive, goal-oriented, and comfortable with cold outreach and handling objections.
  • High level of organization and attention to detail in managing a pipeline of leads.
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to Leeson Group’s products, services, and market positioning.
  • Driven by results, with a strong desire to grow and succeed in a fast-paced environment.
  • Previous experience in a sales or business development role is preferred
