Job Purpose/ Primary Objective
An exciting role is now available as part of our Head Office Team. This is an ideal role for someone who works on their own initiative in a fast-paced environment with the ability to multi- task. A courteous manner is a must with a focus on providing a consistently high standard of service.
The Receptionist and Administration Support will be responsible for:
Reception duties: switch cover Monday to Friday, serves visitors by greeting, welcoming, and directing them appropriately; notifies company personnel of visitor arrival; maintains security by following procedures and issuing visitor badges; booking of taxis & couriers.
To assist Business Services Department with the day-to-day requirements and administration responsibilities, and to work with departmental colleagues, with key managers, and with subject matter experts within and outside Sedgwick Ireland, in the continuous provision of the full range of support services within Sedgwick.
Key Accountabilities
- Administration
- Assisting Business Services in the provision of administrative support to the CEO
- Supporting the team in all aspects of facility management
- Post and courier
- Other duties as specified by the Business Services Department
Essential Skills and Experience
- Ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative
- Excellent communication and organisation skills essential
- Proficient in Microsoft Word/Excel/Power Point
- A professional manner and attitude
- Able to remain calm under pressure
- Able to adapt to change
- Demonstrates discretion and confidentiality
- Sound knowledge of Sedgwick and its operation as a company (desirable but not essential)
- Willingness to operate flexible hours
- Innovative
Qualifications
- High level of proficiency in Word, Excel, and Power Point
- Sound numeric skills
