However, we do this differently, instead of using conventional crewed survey ships, we have developed a marine robotic system known as an Uncrewed Surface Vessel (USV). Overview
The Systems Lead is responsible for overseeing the development, implementation and maintenance of the company’s business systems. This role ensure that all business systems are optimised to support the company’s objectives and operational needs. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in systems implementation, management, a strong technical background, and the ability to drive the achievement of high levels of system performance and reliability.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
Responsibilities will include:

• Owner of the overall business system architecture.
• Prepare a comprehensive plan for systems implementation in conjunction with the Business Transformation Lead.
• Selection, configuration and implementation of business systems.
• Work with stakeholders to gather and analyse system requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
• Select the appropriate systems for the business based on functional specifications and business requirements, presenting recommendations and business cases to the Senior Leadership Team for approval.
• Oversee the implementation of new systems and enhancements to existing systems, ensuring they are integrated effectively within the Company’s operations.
• Work with the relevant stakeholders in the business to ensure that change is managed effectively, teams are supportive of the implementation and trained appropriately in how to use new systems.
• Manage contracts and relationships with systems providers to ensure high-quality implementation and support services are provided on an ongoing basis.
• Generate consistent information from the relevant information systems in the business through the use of tools (i.e.) Power BI or other metrics tools.
• Ensure comprehensive documentation of system processes and procedures is maintained.
• Manage budgets for systems implementation and improvement projects, ensuring cost effective use of resources.

Requirements: Essential Skills / Attributes and Experience

• Relevant Bachelors degree – Computer Science, Information Technology or a related filed.
• Minimum of seven years experience in business systems with at least three years in a leadership role.
• Proficiency in system design and architecture.
• Strong understanding of databases, networks and hardware/ software integration.
• Proficient in the use of data analytics tools (i.e.) Power BI.
• Proven ability to lead and manage large scale projects.
• Excellent communication skills.

Desirable Experience

• MBA or Master’s degree.
• Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools (e.g. PMP, Agile).
• Familiarity with digital transformation tools and technologies including AI.
• Experience of working with Net Suite.
