Business Unit Manager – Industrial & Residential Cleaning

SOS Group is looking for a Business Unit Manager to lead the development of the industrial & residential cleaning division nationwide. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing the division into an industry and market leader with excellent teams, equipment, and operating standards whilst complying with Health and Safety, ISO9001:2015, and ISO 14001;2015 standards.
This is an exciting new role, working with the senior team at SOS Group to develop the business unit to achieve service excellence and growth, and compete in the market with an established, highly successful team in a company experiencing strong growth.

Job Type/ Category

Reporting to the Head of Operations, and working with the senior team, design and implement a structure for the division with a focus on significant growth.
Create a space for growth, optimising existing resources, and increasing capacity with new teams, training, vehicles, routes, and equipment.
Manage and develop client relationships through excellent service and delivery.
Develop additional and new services, optimising value to our clients.
Drive the innovation agenda, looking for new equipment, new methods, and work with key suppliers to find new ways of operating, efficiencies, and a better way of providing service to clients.
Ensure contracts are operating to and exceeding the required specification and performance and are regularly audited in line with the specification.
Provide strong guidance and direction to the team.
Prioritise health and safety without compromise.

Required Education, Skills and Qualifications

Must have previous management experience at a senior level (experience in FM or the cleaning industry not essential, but it is an advantage).
Must have excellent communication skills.
Must have good IT skills.
Practical and logical approach to problem solving with attention to detail.
Be a team player with the ability to develop and maintain good interpersonal relationships with clients.
Analytical with strong problem-solving skills.
Good financial acumen, with knowledge of P&L.
Ability to comply with the company's Policies and Procedures, Health and Safety Legislation, ISO9001;2015 and ISO14001;2015 standards.
Excellent English both verbal and written.
Full clean drivers licence.
Visa to work in Ireland and the EU
