Childcare Manager
Cairdeas Community Childcare are recruiting for a Centre Manager. This is a full time permanent position taking into account a work/life balance
You will report directly to the Board of Management.
Requirements:
· Minimum QQI level 7 or 8 in an accredited Early Years qualification.
· Experience in Childcare Management and HR.
· The ability to lead and motivate a team through support, guidance and mentoring.
· The ability to build professional relationships with colleagues, children and families.
· The ability to self-motivate and meet targets and deadlines.
· Excellent interpersonal skills.
· Excellent Communication skills, must be fluent in English.
· Strong knowledge of the Aistear Curriculum Framework and Siolta Quality Standards.
· Knowledge of play based, child led, emergent curriculum along with the ability to respond to children’s individual interests and document learning.
· Ability to ensure a safe and stimulating learning environment for children so that they may learn and develop to their potential.
· Ability to ensure all Policies and Procedures, Legislation and Statutory guidelines are being fully implemented, monitored and adhered to (Tusla, DCEDIY, HSE, DES).
· Ability to use Early Years platforms and portals (Hive, NCS, Tusla).
· Be dedicated to raising standards in early years and knowledge of Governance.
· Full clean drivers licence.
