Childcare Supervisor
Cairdeas Community Childcare is recruiting for a Supervisor. This is a part time permanent position taking into account a good work/life balance.
You will be part of the management team which reports directly to the Board of Management.
Requirements:
· Minimum QQI level 6 in an accredited Early Years qualification.
· Minimum 2 years’ experience in childcare supervision
· Ability to lead and motivate a team of educators through support, guidance and mentoring.
· Ability to ensure a safe environment. Relevant knowledge of health and safety regs and safeguarding practise.
· Be responsible for developing, delivering and managing daily operations of the centre to ensure a developmentally appropriate environment for the children, in line with all regulatory requirements.
· Excellent interpersonal skills
· Excellent communication skills, must be fluent in English
· Strong knowledge of the Aistear Curriculum Framework and Siolta Quality Standards
· Knowledge of play based, child led, emergent curriculum along with the ability to respond to children’s individual interests and document learning.
· Ability to ensure record keeping is up to date: attendance, daily safety checks, organising CPD training etc..
· Föll clean Drivers Licence.
