Job Summary
The Community Specialist Palliative Care Service at Marymount is led by a team of Clinical Nurse Manager IIIs (CNM III), who play a pivotal role in its development and coordination. This senior nurse management position provides essential clinical leadership to the team while overseeing service planning and resource management. The CNM III is tasked with orchestrating activities within the service and offering expert professional guidance. Their responsibilities encompass both strategic development and day-to-day operational management of the Community Palliative Care Services, ensuring high-quality care delivery and service optimisation.

Qualifications
Candidates must have at the closing date for receipt of applications:

Be registered on the Live Register in the General Division of the Register of Nurses, as maintained by the Nursing and Midwifery Board Ireland (NMBI).
Possess a relevant post-graduate qualification in Palliative Care.
Have a minimum of 5 years of current post-qualification experience, with at least 3 years in specialist palliative care.
Have at least 2 years of recent experience at the Clinical Nurse Specialist level or an equivalent position in Specialist Palliative Care.
Have management experience.
Demonstrate the necessary clinical, leadership, managerial, and administrative skills required to fulfill the duties of the position.
Hold a full, valid driver's license.

Location
This position is primarily based at Marymount University Hospital & Hospice in Curraheen, Cork. However, the work location may be subject to change based on the evolving requirements of the service.
