CNC Machinist / Toolmaker

Excellent opportunity to join a rapidly expanding company based in the south east, manufacturing precision parts and automated equipment for the medical and pharmaceutical sector.
Duties will include:

Precision machining of component parts using cnc milling machines. Machine to tight tolerances consistently on various materials.
Program set up and operate cnc mills to achieve cycle times, while maintaining quality standards. Run multiple machines and short schedule jobs to allow the most efficient utilisation of the equipment.
Program machines off line using cad cam software, Model parts in 3d cad when required.
Ensure that work completed consistently meets design specification and highest engineering and quality standards
Comply with inspection requirements and complete necessary paperwork.
Assist in machine design, prototypes and assembly of bespoke automated machines,
Participate in production planning, job scheduling as required.
Participate in continuous improvement activities, troubleshooting problems in production.
Work as part of the team to ensure the area operates in a safe efficient manner.
Carry out preventative maintenance and asset care duties on machines and keep work area clean and tidy.
Ensure that health and safety standards are fully adhered to at all times.

The Person
The successful candidate will be a dependable person with problem solving skills. They should be highly motivated with the ability to work on own initiative and to deadlines. This person should have excellent communication skills and have good written and verbal English. This person must be able to work as part of a team or individually while being willing to take direction.CNC Programmer / Machinist ( milling, lathe,) with 2 years experience.Part time might be an option for the right candidate Excellent computer skills,3d Cad experience an advantage Experience in mechanical assembly, Pneumatics, troubleshooting of automation equipment and advantage.This person will have the opportunity to evolve and develop with the company, Excellent opportunities available for the right candidate.
