We are currently looking to recruit a Crew Controller/Ground ops controller, based in our Operations Control Centre at Dublin Airport. Reporting to the Head of Operations, this role is a unique opportunity to be part of the operations control team of Ireland’s newest airline, Emerald Airlines. The successful candidate will be key contributor to the operations team and will work across both the crew control and ground ops control departments.
This is an exciting role for an ambitious individual with huge potential to develop and grow with the airline. The successful candidate will work as part of a team of highly skilled aviation professionals to deliver a safe on-time flight schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintaining published crew rosters in accordance with regulatory and company requirements
• Ensuring all flights are adequately crewed in the published roster period.
• Ensuring all training is rostered with instructors.
• Day to day management and monitoring of crew rostering issues, such as absence, standbys, swaps, extra flights, delays, cancellations.
• Dealing with and providing solutions to disruptions to flight and crew schedules
• Monitoring of crew hours limitations (weekly, monthly, annually).
• Producing daily/ weekly/monthly reports and as required
• Main point of contact for all Emerald Airlines airports in our network
• Ensure that Emerald policies, procedures and contractual agreements are being adhered to by ground handling service providers
• Identify, highlight and help resolve areas of under-performance by airports and ground handling service providers.
• Coordinate and produce informative reports on key performance areas such as punctuality, customer service issues, ancillary revenues, and safety and security;
• Manage disruptions and ensure efficient customer care where required as per regulation
• Authorisation of invoices for ad-hoc ground handling
• General OCC administration duties and ad-hoc reporting

Essential Criteria:

• Must be able to pass a 5 year background check
• Have permission to live and work in Ireland without restriction

Advantageous:

• Knowledge of PDC / PPS / ASTRAL
• Experience with IATA / EASA AIR OPS / FTLs
• Working in an aviation related environment
• Previous experience as crew controller or ground ops controller.
