What the minimum requirements for the role?

• Minimum 3 years relevant experience in financial services; preferably in fund administration or willingness to learn instrument types.
• Bachelor's or Master's Degree, preferably in Data Analytics, Information Science, Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, , and/or other related discipline.
• A strong drive to learn and master new technologies and techniques
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to unravel complex queries
• Positive attitude: ‘can do’ approach and willing to give everything a go from manual processing to larger projects
• Good punctuality and time management skills
• Conceptual understanding of asset management sector

Key Responsibilities

• Identify potential areas of automation within the Group’s data flows
• Oversee daily SLAs are met with required quality
• Ingesting third party data into our data lake and warehouse. The data management associate will work with different vendor APIs and services.
• Working with vendor partners to understand the data they are providing, and document the data sets, lineage, and flows.
• Monitoring the data pipelines and communicating any issues to leadership and stakeholders.
• Ability to create and manage Share Point and other vendor-based Workflows.
• Working closely with business partners and developers to ensure proper requirements are documented and agreed to for our different initiatives.
• Build a strong repository of Operations and Domain knowledge.
• Active involvement in capturing process changes/updates and developing workflows based on requirement.
• Communicate with data and valuation vendors, brokers, and requestors etc. to obtain information regarding assets.
• Investigation of Reference data queries and critical client issues
• Maintain documentation of the process activities / process change is in line with the organisational/audit standards

What competencies do you require?

• Understanding of asset management experience would be advantageous
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills, VBA skills an advantage
• Analytical and problem solving skills
• Demonstrated ability to structure complex problems, navigate challenging data sets, develop solutions, and craft high-quality executive presentations
• Accurate and precise attention to detail.
• Ability to effectively manage time, prioritize tasks and work within deadlines with little supervision
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
