We are proud to be launching a new state-of-the-art technology facility in Dublin, Ireland. The Dublin-based team will play a critical role in our continued digital transformation and will function as a centre of excellence for Sirius XM’s global Product and Technology organization.


Sirius XM’s new Dublin facility will comprise a workforce primarily focused on software development, automotive technology and engineering, Ad Tech, data science, and analytics. Talent based in the new technology hub will be charged with developing and implementing best-in-class standards for high-quality, scalable software deliveries for Sirius XM’s streaming and in-vehicle audio entertainment platforms.


Sirius XM’s Dublin facility is planning to recruit positions in the following areas of focus:

• Software Development: Software development roles will be tasked with developing and executing innovation roadmaps and provide advanced operations capabilities.
• Automotive Technology & Engineering: The Dublin team will focus on the development, testing, and support of software and platforms primarily for Sirius XM’s in-vehicle services, as well as for Sirius XM’s consumer electronics and emerging businesses. They will be part of the global team focused on customer adoption, enhancing customer experiences, and driving revenue generation.
• Ad Tech, Data Science & Analytics: The Dublin team will play a critical role in the modernization of Sirius XM’s Ad Tech stack, focused on efficiency and scalability. Developing innovative solutions and prototyping new methods for music discovery and content engagement, this team will integrate cutting-edge technologies, such as Generative AI and Large Language Models, to enhance the subscription value and modernize Sirius XM’s suite of streaming applications and products.

How you’ll make an impact:
Sirius XM is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Product Manager to join the Data Product & Services team, supporting data analysis and science.
You will be responsible for partnering with business, analytics, and science teams to document requirements for our applications and translate requirements to our client and data engineering partners. You will also drive key decisions around Sirius XM’s unique array of client devices (i.e. a wealth of different vehicle types in addition to streaming devices), balancing implementation cost and complexity against business visibility.
You will partner closely with Business Users, Analytics, Data Science, Governance, Legal, and Engineering teams across Data, Services, and Applications to distil information, design, and deliver state-of-the-art data products and services to drive business outcomes.


What you’ll do:

• Serve as the liaison between business owners and technology teams:

• Subject matter expert for instrumentation of product features and functionality for support of assigned programs
• Actively prioritize feature development rollout and bugs for instrumentation.
• Work with internal Sirius XM teams and partners to define and document new feature requirements.
• Ensure requirements meet the development strategy (agile vs hybrid) for assigned programs.

• Leverage and further develop strong expertise in one or more areas of the data lifecycle (collection, management, use - including experimentation and data science, and reporting/self-service tooling), and build a strategy for your space that results in measurable results for the business.
• Identify opportunities for Sirius XM to leverage emerging data technologies and design innovative solutions in a productized fashion that allows for scale within and across business disciplines.
• Manage required documentation for projects, presentations, business cases, project vision documents, business requirements, data process flows, product release notes and product training documentation.
• Drive business units, vendors, and technology teams to identify and manage change agendas, prioritize work, and develop implementation plans.
• Create and implement measurement plans to evaluate the impact our products have on KPIs and Enterprise and Organizational OKRs (Objectives and Key Results).
• Partner with other teams to investigate issues, determine root-cause, business impact, and evaluate resolution priority.

What you’ll need:
Experience managing multiple stakeholders and partners with diverse priorities and perspectives.


Experience with:

• Atlassian Product Suite (JIRA, Confluence, etc.)
• Databricks, Redshift, Snowflake, or similar.
• Tableau, Looker, Domo, or other reporting tools.
• Instrumentation platforms such as Adobe or internal equivalent.
• Strong public speaking, presentation, and written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment with geographically dispersed members
• Strong time management skills and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize and multitask, and work under shifting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated knowledge of various business process and system modelling tools including Data Flow Diagrams, Event Modelling, Process decomposition, and Use Case Scenarios.
• BS/BA in Business, Marketing or Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of experience in product management and 2-3 years of experience Marketing.
• 1-3 years of experience in data.
