We are currently recruiting for a Full time, Permanent Digital Marketing Executive to work in the Marketing Department. The role will report to our Brand & Digital Marketing Manager.


The Digital Marketing Executive is responsible for implementing integrated marketing plans aligned with the Brand and Commercial strategy and manages the content for social media and online channels. Working closely with the Sales and Commercial teams, you will support the business to deliver revenue targets.


Main Duties


Digital and social media comms - United Drug & PHX Ireland

• Implementing, tracking, and optimising digital plans, programs and campaigns across channels.
• Manage and maintain web content across online platforms ensuring aligned with Brand messaging, kept refreshed and accurate, targeted, and personalised where possible.
• Responsible for developing and implementing social media content across four platforms and optimising for following and engagement.
• Digital marketing support: ensure database kept updated, deploy email campaigns for UD customers and suppliers.
• Develop regular blog content for both United Drug and PHX Ireland

Customer engagement and Event Management

• Assisting the Brand & Digital Marketing Manager with customer and supplier webinars, podcasts and events
• Liaise with other departments on planning and communicating CSR/ Charity Campaigns: Charity partner plans, Sustainability for United Drug and PHX Ireland

Supplier Marketing

• Develop strong working relationships with third party suppliers, as well as the wider product, proposition, and marketing team
• Responsible for all marketing services for suppliers: email campaigns, banner advertising, telesales, monitor and track performances in line with KPI's and provide suppliers with post campaign analysis reports.

General Admin

• General administration duties such as raising PO's, organising couriers etc
• Responsible for all sponsorship requests & arranging payment with finance
• Updating performance metrics and benchmarks

Requirements

• Formal qualification in Marketing or Commerce required
• Experienced in Digital Marketing / Social Media Marketing - ideally 2 years
• Minimum of 3-4 years' experience within marketing assistant/executive role
• Preference for experience in Business to Business/Trade marketing role
• Experience working with a variety of digital marketing tools. i.e. Hootsuite, meta business suite, zoom, email marketing platforms such as Mailchimp
• Good working knowledge of MS Suite
• The ability to work effectively as part of a team and collaborate with other departments
• Excellent organisational skills
• Ability to work on own initiative
• Ability to be flexible in line with the demands of the job, especially when deadlines need to be met
