The role: Pinergy Solar is recruiting for an Electrical Field Supervisor. This person will be responsible for overseeing the health and safety, quality and technical aspects of the electrical solar Installations that the company undertakes. This person will be reporting to the Field Operations Manager and have a close working relationship with the Roofing Field Supervisor. The person must demonstrate a strong knowledge and understanding of all electrical materials, products and types to be able to support the crews, customers and clients alike.
Location: The successful candidate will travel to sites around Ireland where required. The candidates base location can be any of our 3 offices – Clonskeagh Dublin office, Enniscorthy Wexford office or Killanne Wexford office.
Requirements:
· 5+ years as a qualified electrician
· Experience working on utility scale installs is a distinct advantage
· The correct SOLAS QQI Level 6 electrical trade qualification
· Experience managing/overseeing crews and people
· Deep understanding of Health and Safety
· Full clean drivers licence
· Willingness to travel to and from sites around Ireland and to and from our offices where required
· Comfortable working alone and as a team
Responsibilities & Duties:
· Adhere to relevant compliance and follow all health & safety procedures
· Check quality of installations are met to the highest standard and comply with guidelines
· Engaging with our customers and providing information and advice on work being undertaken
· Complete work to the highest standard within the allocated time
· Complete the required Installation paperwork/daily notes on the Company’s CRM system
· Email correspondence
· Constant communication with crews, management and other departments to ensure a smooth and efficient installation process
· Confident decision making
· Ability to control Health and Safety aspects on site
· Able to effectively manage time to meet deadlines
· Able to effectively multi-task several projects at once
· Able to work as a team and on their own
· A positive attitude for dealing with customers
· Willingness to travel to sites and do overnight stays occasionally if the scheduled inspection/site visit is far away
· Other duties as assigned by the Field Operations Manager
