One of Irelands leading Tree Services & Utility Contractors is searching for an Environmental, Health & Safety Officer to join their ever growing team. Parklawn Tree Services have various contracts in both the private and public sector, delivering the highest standards to our clients.
The ideal candidate will have the relevant qualifications and have Health and Safety experience, with experience in utilities preferable but not essential.
Salary: Negotiable DOE & Company Vehicle
Health and Safety Officer Key Responsibilities:
Managing, developing and implementing EHS strategies and policies to:
· Maintain to the current standards of ISO 45001, 9001 & 14001
· Manage the safety of all employees, contractors and visitors
· Ensure on-going legal compliance
· Keep up to date with current legislation and industry best practice and share this information with site staff
· Manage Training needs Analysis for all staff and management
· Investigate and report on accidents, incidents & near misses. Develop reports with root cause findings and corrective measures as necessary
· Take a key role in maintaining/improving our overall safety performance and communicating to all relevant staff
· Develop and review Risk Assessment and Method Statements as required
· Perform site inspections and prepare relevant audit reports and findings and close out with corrective actions
· Develop and carry out Safety meetings and Toolbox Talks
· Provide advice, guidance and instruction on all environmental, health and safety matters to management and employees.
· Complete Tender Submissions as required to a high standard
Procatively engage, challenge and influence safety culture throughout the company
Liaise with internal and external stakeholders on all Parklawn Tree Services Health & Safety Matters
Lead out on all Environmental, Health & Safety matters as they arise within the company

• Experience in Environmental, Health and Safety and experience in utilities preferable but not essential.

• Experience in ISO 45001, 9001 and 14001
