One of Irelands leading Tree Services & Utility Contractors is recruiting multiple candidates for the role of Overhead Network Utility Surveyor delivering the highest standards for a public services contract. The role will be based in the Midlands and West of Ireland. This role will report to the Lead Surveyor:
As a surveyor you will be assigned an area and using the specialist software provided , survey the overhead powerline network for vegetation and timber. This role requires someone who is customer friendly and also good attention to detail is required. Full training will be provided to the successful candidates.
Key responsibilities:
· Utilise specialist software provided to survey overhead powerline network in accordance with training.
· Accurately record data.
· Liaise with landowners to obtain permission for timber cutting operations.
· Ability to read and understand network diagrams.
· Follow company EHS procedures on site.
· Collaborate with timber cutting crews in relation to survey information.
· Liaise with Lead surveyor and other team members.
· Other Ad hoc duties as required.
The Person

• Previous Electrical Utility related experience and knowledge is desirable, but not essential as full training will be provided
• Good communication skills. Fluent English
• Proficient and competent use of software.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Excellent Customer Service
• Full Drivers Licence
