Who we are looking for
Portfolio manager with proven experience in European Equities, with objective of running/co-running one of the strategies in the Equity Solution Team while bringing a strong background on active management as well as strong ESG knowledge and ESG integration effort. The person in this role will be part of a team of seven people, reporting to the Head of Equity Solutions. The Equity Solutions team is part of the Equity Business line, which includes over 70 people across seven geographical locations. The candidate will need to be a passionate team player, and open to actively engage with Equity solution's team members, the wider business line and other divisions in Amundi.

Equity Solutions is rapidly growing, providing clients with an attractive equities franchise with a strong ESG framework, both European and Global, and with ambitions to target both retail and institutional clients.

What you will be responsible for
List key responsibilities & job duties

• Portfolio management role on Amundi Funds European Equity Income ESG fund
• Joining the Equity Solution team, with strong equity background, and ability to combine macroeconomic and ESG criteria into the bottom-up investment process
• Actively share investment ideas, research, market views etc. with colleagues, contribute to the team internal Investment case database
• Select equities according to valuation framework, risk-return perspective and input from sector analyst
• Actively engage in the discussion and the decision process, both internally (within the business line and within Amundi) and externally (with companies, analysts, specialists…)
• Make the relevant buy or sell decisions
• Produce and share investment cases
• Study and use quantitative tools to optimize the portfolio allocation and monitor risk
• Develop and maintain risk control within the area
• Collaborate with communication and marketing, both internal and external, to support asset-gathering effort as required.
• Perform activity in a legal and compliant manner

Education & Preferred Qualifications

• Educational background: (relevant degree at B.Sc or M.Sc. level)
• Experience required: minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role
• CFA designation would be a plus
