Castleknock Hotel is an award-winning 4 Star hotel in Castleknock, Dublin 15. Our Hotel comprises of 190 bedrooms, Tonic Health Club, The Spa, 22 Bar and Restaurant, Earth & Vine Restaurant, Limetree Bar and extensive Conference & Banqueting facilities. We are seeking a passionate and talented Chef's to join our team for the upcoming Christmas season.
We are recruiting experienced seasonal chefs on a short term contract.
We would predict that some of these roles may be available on a part -time or permanent basis beyond the period of the contract in January 2025.
The hotel is 2 bus journeys or a train from the city centre. Your own transport would be an advantage but not essential. Your own uniforms will be required also.
Unfortunately, we are not in a position to offer any staff accommodation, or visa sponsorship.
An immediate start is required to ensure full menu and operational training before the party season commences, contract end date 12.01.2025.

What we require from our applicants:

At least 4 years experience in a busy kitchen with high volume covers
The ability to engage well with team members to provide a consistently high standard of food
A high level of HACCP knowledge - Level 2 qualification in Food Safety
The ability to adapt to change and work well under pressure
Outgoing and friendly personality
Have a professional image at all times in line with the Kitchen and Hotel standards
Be committed to the team
Be flexible with working hours (must be available for weekends and early starts)
