Our client is a well established renewable energy solution provider that is undergoing rapid expansion.
As a Field Service Engineer in the Energy Sector, you will be required to provide after-sales service and commissioning in addition to onsite advice and technical support.
Responsibilities:

• Perform system commissioning for HVAC installations as required, ensuring all systems are fully operational.
• Provide after-sales support, including warranty-related work and assisting customers with fault diagnostics and troubleshooting.
• Offer on-site guidance and technical support to both customers and internal staff, addressing any queries or issues related to system performance.
• Assist in the technical training of both staff members and customers, ensuring they are knowledgeable about system operation and maintenance.
• Support the technical team in evaluating and reviewing new products, providing feedback based on practical experience.
• Work in accordance with relevant Gas Safety regulations and Health & Safety legislation, ensuring all work is carried out safely and legally.
• Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental protocols, ensuring a safe working environment at all times.
• Perform other tasks as reasonably requested by management that are within your skills and abilities.

Requirements;

• Solid understanding and expertise in HVAC systems and renewable energy technologies, particularly heat pumps.
• Valid F-Gas certification for handling refrigerants in compliance with industry standards is desirable.
• Prior experience in the commissioning, installation, and ideally the servicing of heat pumps.
• Proven experience in servicing, maintaining, and troubleshooting a variety of HVAC equipment.
• Comfortable and efficient in using the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) for reporting and communication purposes.
• Ability to effectively interact with customers and team members.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality service with a customer-centric mindset, ensuring satisfaction and resolution of concerns.
• A full, clean driving license and a willingness to travel throughout Ireland to service customer sites.
