An exciting opportunity now exists for an ambitious Fitness Instructor at Hodson Bay Hotel.

This is a full time 39 hours per week role, however, it can also be on a part time basis, for the right candidate.

Key responsibilities:

To offer the highest level of guest service in the Leisure Club, ensuring the 4* agreed standards are achieved at all times
Deliver Gym Inductions - demonstrate the correct way to use exercise equipment
Deliver group exercise classes and workshops
Instruct swim lessons
Develop personal exercise and diet plans
Promote and give wellness advices
To ensure the highest standards of hygiene and cleanliness in the Leisure Club
Carry out Reception duties and deliver a high level of customer care
To be responsible for the health & safety of all guests and visitors to the Leisure Club
To operate machinery and care for it as necessary, ensuring adherence to Health & safety procedures
To carry out the Hotels customer relations policy and to communicate Hotel services to guests

Requirements:

Previous experience in teaching gym classes
Previous experience in teaching Aqua Aerobics
Previous experience in instructing swimming lessons
Previous experience of working in a customer care environment
Excellent communication skills
Strong administration skills
Qualified Lifeguard (desirable)
Qualified First Aider (preferred)
Previous experience of Pool Plant (desired)
