Job Summary

Active Ennis leisure complex is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic fitness instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for health and fitness, excellent communication skills, and the ability to motivate and inspire clients of all fitness levels. As a fitness instructor you will be asked to lead fitness classes, provide safe and effective instruction, carry out fitness tests and programmes for members and guests, ensure gym maintenance and hygiene standards, while showing initiative in the performance of all duties.

Each candidate must, on the latest date for receipt of completed application forms:

Have a recognised fitness qualification, NCEF, NCEHS or

Equivalent and be a member of the Register of Exercise Professionals (REPS Irl)

Have 1-2 years’ experience of fitness testing, programming, gym and class instruction.

Have excellent communication and customer care skills. Note: A good command of the English language is essential.
