The responsibilities will encompass the following daily activities:
- Scanning and unloading/loading freight from incoming and outgoing trunk vehicles (primarily double-deckers)
- Strategic and safe reloading of outgoing freight
- Allocation and sorting of freight bays
- Managing both inbound and outbound manifests within our system (training will be provided)
- Reporting incidents
- Upholding good housekeeping practices
- Understanding and adhering to safety responsibilities
- Flexibility in carrying out your duties is essential
Ideal candidates should have a background in freight handling with a minimum of 2-3 years of experience. A current counterbalance forklift license is required, as well as a manual handling certificate. Experience with GDP training is advantageous. Candidates must be diligent and willing to collaborate within a team, possess strong communication skills, and must be eligible to work in Ireland.
