Goods-Inwards Stock Operative

Job Purpose: To inspect goods received are correct to order.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the receipt of all incoming goods, utilising in-house computer system.
- Stock control duties - Rotation & Stocktakes.
- Process stock returns and damaged stock.
- Maintaining the area while keeping it clean and tidy.
- Assisting customers.
- Ensuring all required paperwork and administration is completed and up to date.
- Ensuring compliance with all Health & Safety and Security requirements.
- Adhere to the company's standard operating procedures.
- Other duties as required by business needs.
Experience/Skills:
- Have experience working in a warehouse and/or goods-in environment.
- Good organisational and time management abilities.
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
- Highly motivated, who takes initiative with minimal supervision.
- Dedicated and flexible.
- A professional approach to their work and dealing with colleagues and management.
Hours: 39 hours per week (Monday-Saturday)
