Graduate Civil and Structural Engineer

Position Title: Graduate Engineer (0-2 years’ experience)
Location: Wexford Town
Company: Founded in 2006, DRA Consulting Engineers are an established firm of Consulting Civil &
Structural Engineers & Project Managers with offices in Dublin, Limerick and Wexford. As part
of our continued growth, we opened our third office in Wexford in 2019. We are building a team
of motivated and ambitious people for the Wexford Office which is led by Associate Director &
Chartered Engineer, Brian Healy.
We provide services to both private & public sector clients with an emphasis on economical
design, sustainability and a client focused approach. Our projects portfolio includes residential,
commercial, educational & civil infrastructure. We also have particular expertise and experience
in civil & structural engineering, project management, high-rise construction, conservation

Job Specification:
The role will involve the following:
- Civil & Structural Engineering Design & production of drawings using Revit & Auto CAD.
- Assisting Project Engineers / Senior Engineers with administration & project management of projects.
- Liaising with clients, design team members and other members of staff.

Use of draughting / modelling software including Auto CAD, Revit, CADS RC.
The Successful Candidate - Requirements:
The successful candidate must meet the following requirements in terms of skills and attributes:
- An honours degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- Be a member (or become a member) of Engineers Ireland or the Institute of Structural Engineers.
- Competent in the use of Auto CAD drafting software.
- Proficient in Microsoft office applications including Outlook, Word and Excel.
- Experience with civil & structural design software is desirable.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and in the development of design solutions.
- Self-motivated, career focused and with ambitions to reach chartered engineer status.
