Training and Development
As a graduate at Lidl, you will receive a personalised and comprehensive training plan that will prepare you for your future role and career. As part of your training, you will spend some time in our stores and warehouses, to understand how our business operates and what makes us different. You will also work in one of our regions, where you will support the regional management team and learn from their expertise. Depending on your career path and interests, you may also travel abroad and work in one of our international offices or markets.

What you'll do

The Supply Chain Management department is split into three distinct areas:

Assortment & International Logistics
Promotions
Layout Management

The Assortment and Promotions teams act in a strategic manner to aid each Regional Supply Chain department in achieving their key performance indicators (KPIs), focusing on availability, write off control and freshness of product. The department also sets out best practice for regional operations. In the Layout Management area, the primary responsibilities relate to all forms of product placement in the store, and the creation of the operational instructions to be communicated to stores for successful execution of a promotion, i.e., bringing the promotional leaflet to life for the customer. At Lidl, the supply chain doesn’t stop when the item is physically delivered to the store. In Layout Management, the team ensure that each category layout and promotional placement is designed with a view to maintaining simplicity and improving efficiencies, all the while delivering a strong message to the customer.

What you'll need

An expected or attained 2.1 Honours Level 8 degree
Full driving licence is required
Flexibility to travel or relocate within Ireland is required
Motivation and drive
Strong personal skills
Work experience or experience abroad
German is an advantage but not a necessity

Through our salary system, we ensure pay equality across all positions at Lidl

€42,500 per annum pro rata
Flexiwage will allow you to split your monthly pay over the month - weekly or fortnightly options available
