About The Role
As the Head of Reward, you will report to the Chief People Officer, where there is an exciting opportunity to develop a new Reward Centre of Expertise which will play a pivotal role in shaping and enhancing Bidvest Noonan’s reward and benefits offering across our 27,000 workforce across GB and Ireland.This includes developing and executing a comprehensive reward and benefits strategy that supports the business objectives, drives performance, and ensures the company's reward and benefits packages are competitive, cost-effective, and aligned with the company's culture and values. The role will manage the design, implementation, and monitoring of the reward policies, including base salary, variable pay, executive compensation, and employee benefits.
This role will bring expertise in reward strategy and policy, job architecture design and management which will enable Bidvest Noonan to achieve our ambitious vision of being the best FM company.
Reward Strategy Development:
- Lead the development and implementation of the company’s global reward and benefits strategy.
- Ensure that the reward strategies are aligned with business objectives, market trends, and legal requirements.
- Build reward frameworks that promote high performance, retention, and motivation.
- Design and implement a new job architecture framework for the global business that includes job levels, role classifications, and career progression paths.
- Ensure clarity in job descriptions, leveling guides, and role expectations across the organization.
- Regularly review and adjust the job architecture framework to meet evolving business needs, ensuring consistency in job titles, salary bands, and career progression.
- Ensure the job architecture is integrated with the performance management and reward systems to enable data-driven decisions regarding promotions, lateral moves, and pay adjustments.
- Oversee the design and implementation of salary structures, pay scales, and incentive programs.
- Conduct regular benchmarking against market standards to ensure competitive positioning.
- Review salaries in line with gender pay gap reporting and analysis, applying principles of fair pay.
- Lead annual salary reviews and pay increase processes, including the design and implementation of a new variable pay processes.
- Provide guidance on employee performance evaluation and its impact on rewards.
- Support with the design, implementation and management of annual leader bonus scheme.
- Evaluate current benefits offerings and design new benefits solutions for different employee cohorts that are competitive and aligned with the needs of employees – enabling us to be the employer of choice.
- Manage employee benefits programs, including a flexible benefits offering giving employee choice over g health insurance, pensions, wellness initiatives, and other employee benefits.
- Oversee the design, implementation, and management of company pension plans – ensuring pension schemes are competitive, tax-efficient, and aligned with employee needs and market trends.
- Manage relationships with all pensions and benefits providers and administrators ensure smooth operation of the plans.
- Ensure compliance with legal regulations.
- Use reward and compensation data and analytics to provide insights and make data-driven decisions on salary trends and compensation structures.
- Monitor and report on the cost and effectiveness of reward programs to the Executive Committee.
- Regularly review policies to ensure consistency with the business’s financial capabilities, local labour laws and tax regulations.
- Partner with HR business leaders, finance, and legal teams to ensure alignment with financial and legal frameworks.
- Provide expertise and consultation to senior leaders on reward-related issues and trends.
Executive Team, Country Leadership Teams, Operational Management Teams, , People and Culture Leadership Team, Finance, third party suppliers and vendors.

A minimum of 10 years of experience in reward, benefits, and pensions, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.

Developing new reward and benefits strategies, for a global organisation – in a comparable workforce/ industry.

Experience in job architecture design and implementation, including the development of job families, levelling, and compensation structures.

Proven experience designing and implementing pension schemes, as well as executive compensation and benefits programs.

Strong knowledge of compensation frameworks, labour laws, pensions regulations, and best practices.

Strong data analysis skills, including the ability to interpret complex compensation, pensions, and benefits data.
