Due to Company expansion we are currently recruiting for a HGV driver to join our team in Ashbourne, Co. Meath. As part of the duties you would be expected to work in our distribution centre also.
Daily Responsibilities:
- Be flexible in relation to start times
- To work as part of a team
- Completing Daily Vehicle Check Sheets
- To make on time deliveries and collections daily
- Ability to unload and load vehicle
- To be able to Work on your own initiative
- Maintain & return all paperwork associated with deliveries/collections
- Picking of orders
- General warehouse work
- Any other tasks delegated from your Line Manager
To apply for this position Drivers must meet the following criteria:
- Full Clean Drivers' License
- Have held a full C license for a minimum of 1 year
- Valid Drivers CPC and Digital card required
- Be familiar with the Irish Roads network
- Good communicate skills and ability to communicate in spoken English
- Previous multi drop experience and an excellent customer service attitude
- Manual handing and Forklift cert desirable
Licence:
- B Full driving licence required
- C Driving License required
- CE driving License preferential
Other:
- This is a full time 40 hours per week permanent role
